here is the door prize for the june meeting.

a complete nano setup including:
custom built stand/top by me
18 gallon glass tank with rounded front corners
emporer HOB filter
96 watt PC retro light with new 50/50 bulb
new 100 watt jebo heater
magfloat glass cleaner
powerstrip
timer for light
starter kit of miscellaneous items (salt, test kits, etc.)
about 40 lbs of live sand
about 30 lbs of completely coraline covered live rock
three damsels
a frogspawn, couple of leather corals and whatever corals people donate.

every charter member in attendance (existing or newly paid) will get one chance to win it.

every charter member in attendance who brings a frag of coral to add to it gets a second chance to win it.

Hi! I am new to the hobby. I Just recently purchased a 265 gal Tank, which will be installed in about four weeks (waiting for the custom filtration system to be built) I am glad I stumbled into this site before getting the tank. I have been learning so much. I will join this June!! SEE YA!

Thank You! :roll I have lots to learn before my tank gets here. I can't wait to start!! I guess it is good that it is happening this way because I can research on what exactly to start with. I ordered 200lbs of live rock to start our family reef. Id hate to put undue stress on the marine life that is going in the tank due to my ignorance.

I tell you what, that is a snazzy looking stand and canopy! I like how the top is supported by the wood in the rear (no jokes about wood in the rear please:)) that comes up from the stand. Really cool idea for a door prize! I think I may need to sign Tab up as a charter member, and bring a coral from each of us! I have to see what I can frag! It would be nice to see some exotic softies like some PPEs! ::winks at Sean:: LOL. Maybe we could do a much larger setup for the "end of the year" prize? It could be a raffle, with tickets always on sale!

I did not realise the meetings were held at members homes. I just got back in town, and had my new tank installed. Thanks to this site and a few others I don't feel so afraid to dive into this hobby. Sorry for the Patato Salad joke. Hopefully one day my tank will be worthy of a meeting. I live close to the RIM in The Dominion Subdivision. See Ya Soon!
