I have white sponges growing every where. It started with one and now you can even count how many I have. And there not the prettiest looking thing. I have one that is about 5 inches long on one of my rocks. But that one is more like a brownish color. Is there somethen I can do that can stop it.

thanks

Ohh ya since we are on the things that are going crazy in the tank. On my other tank. Im getting the little white feather duster looking things all over the glass. Is there somethen that eat them. Plus there is nothen in the tank yet. Just 2 clowns.

Leave them alone, theyre good for the tank and will most likely go away on their own.

I dont believe either are toxic to corals, I have both and they dont seem to bother a thing. If you have info to the contrare, Id like to see it.

Josh, could it have just out competed them?

Just like everything else in your tank that you don't intentionally add... something has to fuel it. control what they are eating and you might control them.

a butterfly fish might control it, but that's a pretty advanced fish.
