acro-crabs

so I have finally acquired some acros that have little crabs in them... yay! :)

sorry, no pics as of yet.

anyhow...

one of them has a white body (completely white) w/ an absolutely smooth carapice.

the other one, is white on the bottom, brown on top, and he has a few and i do mean 'few' hairs on hom... he's not hair like a gorilla crab, or even like the legs of a emerald... but there is some there.

I know that the hairy crab = bad crab thing is mostly bunk... but.. there is always that little voice in the back of my head that is doubtful...

he's about the size of an eraser head now, so i figure i should just leave him for now and if he gets bigger, i can find someone w/ a hungry mantis.

I've asked before where one might be able to purchase a bulk order of acro crabs.

hmm.. you know i have never even thought of such a thing... I think they would be insanely hard to harvest, they would probably have to frag the coral int he ocean just to get them out, destroying the entire colony... maybe not.. but anyhow, I don't know that there is any way to order even one. I think you just have to 'get lucky'
