First, quit calling it a "puter". ;)

You can search; I'm pretty sure Ace posted alot about his treatment. Larry (Instar)had them a few years back and posted extensively about it.

well, i did a search, but i'm not sure i'm ready to tackle this without access to a computer to ask ?s and research. i didn't turn up much specific info on this site, mostly just references. i'd really like to treat in the tank if possible, but i'm not sure if that would be a good idea. i just don't really have a place for a QT setup. it really sucks to have to just watch my corals looking unhappy, and just not have the ability to do anything about it. i hope the "puter" is fixed soon!

thanks ace, i'm afraid i'm going to need someone to walk me through this. i'mjust reluctant to do the treatment without having the site to ask ?s if i have any problems. i read through some of your thread last night, but i thought you were dealing with flatworms. i'll give you a call this evening or tomorrow, i think i'll also give richard a call. i had never noticed his thread from a couple months back, but i believe that to be the source. i did get a couple of the corals from that same seaworld shipment. thanks again for offering your help, that's exactly what i was hoping for.

yes, that thread was about AEFW, but i have treated for redbugs a few times. it is very simple and i will be glad to walk you thru it - gimme a call.

The red bug infestation Richard got from seaworld was quite a while back... I havent noticed anything in those tanks for many moons, and trust me, I look since it's a concern. my tank is so small an interceptor treatment would actually be more difficult.

I think you missed the year on that post. It was over a year ago when seaworld had them. I haven't seen any on their stuff since then. They wouldn't let any frags go for 6 months after that just to make sure they had gotten rid of them.

I'm sure Ace can answer all your questions on the treatment but give me a call if you need more help. It's really an easy treatment.

your right richard, sorry 'bout that. i got some SW frags from you around that time this year, so i thought that may have been the source. i'm not looking to place blame or anything. i had wondered how i had missed that thread. thanks for everyones help, Ace pretty much walked me through the procedures, and my wife ordered some interceptor(she's a compounder at a pharmacy), so, i'll do the treatment this WE. can't wait to be redbug free!
