pump question

I need to replace the turbo pump on my red sea turbo classic skimmer. It doesn't work worth a crap. Any suggestions?

I had one of those at one point and upgraded to the pump to the needle wheel version and like it much more. What you need to do is remove the venturi out of the inlet and plug the air inlet hole and just get a good needle wheel pump like a Sedra 3000 (for that size unless you have the XL version) or the ocean runner (not sure of size).

BTW, are you sure that the venturi isn't clogged up on that skimmer. I used to have to take it out and clean the salt out of it every few months to get it to work at it's best.
