Quite the auspicious title right? Lol.. ok, so maybe not so much.
When I saw this the first thought in my head was putting it on the back of an aquarium w/ a reef dvd on it.

i actually have no idea man... sorry. shouldn't this be in it's own topic though? Kind of different than talking about a TV you can stick under water. :) lol

no no no Sean, you can NOT choose a semi practical method of using this miracle of technology! ideas must be limited to impractical flights of fancy like as an aquarium background, or under water in your pool or pond.
:)
It would make for the ultimate betta torture device... Just hook your cam corder up to it, focus on your betta, put the betta bowl next to the screen and wallah. :)

Use it as a regular tv, but still, put it in your aquarium. You could use it for supporting your foam rockwork. Who says that fish don't want to watch Survivor?

I am afraid the seahorses would make us get cable.

Maybe your fish can sit and watch Finding Nemo on tv? Then they would get lazy and probably want a game system or a TIVO to record stuff for whent hey are eating or sleeping! LOL :)
I did see a show on MTV Cribs the other day with this guy that had a groto hot tub with his pool and he was talking about adding a flat screen tv to it so it would have to water proof like the one shown.
Personally, I'd think it would be cooler to have a big fish tank in the bathroom/shower than a tv.

slightly off-topic, but after 4 months of paying my bill and having horrible service with time warner, i was about to pull the plug on them. ive never asked for credit before, so when the 'retention supervisor' asked me what she could do to keep me as a customer i said 'the service ive been paying for for the last 4 months has been unsatisfactory. i currently have a bill of 150$ and some change. if you could make that bill go away and get me a brand spanking new dvr box and cable modem, ill keep your service for 1 more month. if anything happens during that month, i am cancelling my account immediatly and seeking alternatives for internet service and tv'
much to my suprise, she sympathized with me and said there was no reason for me to have 3 calls in jan, 4 in feb, 12! in march, and 3 in april. i am a very patient person as you can see. im sure most of you would have cancelled your accounts long ago if you had to call 12 times in 1 month and you never asked for credit of any kind. my patience is why i think ill be good at reef keeping.
so, time warner is supposed to come out to my place tomorrow and replacing the dvr box for the 5th time and the cable modem for the 3rd time.

Ask for a booster amp to be installed in your box on the house. They will try to hit you up for 70 bones, but tell them no. I did that at an old house and it made the service better. This of course is coming from a warrior for the no cable revolution. I was tired of paying for the same shows over and over. Best of luck those guys are evil!

you may get better service on your cable modem, but continue to expect your DVR to be junk... i have gone through so many I have lost count.
