I have been setting up my ro system it is a 6 stage 100 gpd output. i was curious, I hope I ask this the correct way,

1. When the water comes out of stage 5, is that where I connect it to the it to the Holding tank, and then to stage 6?

Cause I dont have the faucet that comes out of stage 5. Please let me know

ok, what IS your stage 6? if it is a drinking water/taste/oder stage, it may add stuff BACK in to your water to make it taste like we humans like... usually it's just carbon. if your not going ot drink this water, I would leave it off. thats just me though. (personally love the taste of ro water.)

if you have a storage tank, and you want to get a spigot from home depot and drink off it, then go with the setup on the right.

Greg, it was set up like the picture on the right.
He's already got the tank and the spiggot.
Like they said, Greg, those 2 additional filters are only additional carbon filtration to make the water taste better. You don't have to use them.

I'd use the stage 6 filter if you will be drinking the water from that tank, that is if it's a carbon filter since it will improve the taste of the water.
My question is are both the stage5 and stage6 cartridges the same or is stage6 a carbon based cartridge for taste and stage5 happen to be a DI cartridge?
