I have had my rose for about two weeks now and I have yet to get him to eat. I have tried feeding him silversides and he holds on to it for a while but then lets go. The mouth on him is also always open. Is this bad? The anemone looks fine im just a newbie at keeping these things. I do have a clown that hosts in him. Any help would be great. Thanks

try using a cube of brine or something. Just put it right on the anemone, and make sure the tentacles close up around it.

A silversides may be too big for your anemone. I only occasionally feed mine - I have 7.

he will get most of his nutrition from photosynthesis. If you have him hosting clowns, he will also eat their detritus. A gaping open mouth is of concern though, as their mouth should be shut most of the time, I know mine is.... Water quality issues? Nitrates?
