pump size i believe, sedra 7000 vs. 9000? I have been known to be wrong before!! lol

also you do know that ASM has been bought out and is no longer made. They now make Octopus skimmers or something to that effect, here's the web page you ca read it. http://www.asmskimmer.com/

That was never ASM's wesite. That was just a dealer that took on the name. You can still buy them through PremiumAquatics and other online vendors.

It uses the 9000 instead of the 5000 Sedra Pump, also is 30 inches tall as upposed to 24. You can get the ASM G4 Plus also which is the same size as the G4 but with a 9000 pump.

Indeed they are still available as was stated. Also the G4+ is rated for more gallons.

These are the diferences between the G4 skimemrs:

ASM G4 8.5"W 24"T 11.5"x16" Sedra 5000 350 gal $404.99
ASM G4 plus with Sedra 9000 upgrade 8.5"W 24"T 11.5x16" 9000 350 gal $425.99
ASM G4X 8.5"W 30"T 13"x14" Sedra 9000 450 gal $436.99

So was the double becket, but I can always cut back on too much skimming if need be.
