Is it reef safe? Has anyone had anything bad happen with one?

Don't qoute me on it but I think some people use them in their clean up crews in their reef aquariums.

I wouldn't try it if you have valuable clams or snails in your tank. Some conches eat clams and snails.

I have a tiger conch and it hasn't hurt anything. It eats the algae at the bottom of the tank and stirs up the sand.

I like to keep several in my reef to keep the bed stirred up.
