I recently got a Tunze wavemaker in my 125g. Ever since I turned it on my Sarco has not had its polyps out. It still has its full mushroom shape, but no extended polyps. I know they usually do not like to high a flow, but thought they can adapt to pretty much any flow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The lightening has not changed and no other corals have been added to the tank.

Give it time. The change in flow sometimes makes things withdraw. I had the same thing happen to some palys and zoas.

Im not sure Id consider the Tunze wave maker a flow generating device, rather a surge type device. Like the old dude said, give it some time and guage its reaction. lol
