Um, this is more of a thread for the Vendor Experience Forum and also kind of a strange post from someone that just joined the site.
Anyway, it's an interesting store, worth checking out even if you aren't looking to buy anything. Prices may be a little higher (probably due to having higher overhead expenses), but they also sell some stuff you don't see elsewhere. Either way, if you don't think their products/service are worth the price, then don't shop there.

i lived and now my parents live right near it i have been in several times prices are high employees seem dumb and dont like to help if you ask a question about a fish or coral they hand you a book. and the manager reminds me of the old management from austin aquariums and we know the rest of that story. if you are looking for a nice place near there go 290w exit jones rd then about 2.5 mi on the right there is a small place. good prices and stock however poor english from the workers

what a new member can't ask a question about a store? I thought this forum was supposed to help people, yet you want to second guess them at every turn?

Wei - sorry, but it's a bit unusual for someone whose 3rd post on the entire site is to come on here and start complaining about a store. You must understand there are people that work for stores or are best friends of the owners that come on here under different names and either talk up their store or talk bad about others.
Pricing is something people will complain about forever. Customers will always say they are too high and store owners will always say they are too low. Also one of those things that if you don't like the prices, shop elsewhere, there are plenty of other stores. Unless you had a really bad experience there, I don't see a reason to start complaining. Just my 2 cents though.

I just took it as he was questioning if their prices were too high and not real complaining.
As a newbie alot of people aren't sure what seems high and what actually is high.
I pretty much second all the statements about them. Nice place to go look for presentation but I wouldn't buy anything from em

i second that stance i remember how nieve i was when i started now i know what prices should be and when someone asks 60 bucks for a foxface rabbitfish then i know that the price is higher than some other places

I will tell the story only by PM or phone. I won't bash in open for forum but there are problems there.

They didn't used to be high at least when I was in College Station. We used to go to Houston frequently and I would stop in there but of course we are talking 12 years ago. I have not been in there sense so things change. The stores was neat to see though.
