Red Alge

I have a nasty red alge covering only my sand and it popped up practiacally overnight. It has not spred to rocks or corals. It is producing so many bubbles it is starting to float. What do i do to eradicate it??

Cyano, more water movement for one thing, oxygenate the water a little better,, IE a powerhead pointed at surface.. check this out1
