I'd like to raise my salinity up a few points, from 1.022 to 1.025, about 100 gallon system capacity including sump and fuge. What's the safest way to do this?

slowly with a dripper bucket!

Do a water change...around 5-10 gallons. When you add the new saltwater, make it a higher salinity, like around 1.030.

The water change would make for a rapid rise. Is that ok?
If I were to slowly drip, how much time should I take. Hours, days?

Changing 5g of water in a 100g system would not be a rapid change IMO, remember you would be removing 5% of your saltwater that is 1.022 and then adding 5% back in that is 1.030...no worries there. ;)

100 gallons, you want to increase your salinity about 15% = about 3-5 lbs of salt? I'd just add it to your sump over the next week, a little at a time.

Lots of options, I see, thanks.
Bill, you are suggesting adding salt straight from the bucket, right?

that is what i do, one cup (2 gallons worth of salt) a day until it is where it needs to be. i pour it into a lower flow area of my sump so it can slowly dissolve.

I just top off for evaporation with saltwater instead of fw. Brings it up slowly.

Yup. Directly from the bucket.
Another option - However you top your water off - auto top off or a bucket, just top off your water using seawater until the salinity gets to where it you want it.

Bingo. That's what I've always done. Your critters will never know the difference this way.
