How is everyone cleaning filter socks. I am using 100 micron with 7" ring and I keep trying to just flush them with new water, but they still look nasty. Greenmako (Brian) or anyone else got any tips???

If I remember a conversation with Brian correctly, he has a few extra sets of the filter socks around. I believe he said he puts them in the washing machine with a capful of bleach. Then they rest until they are put back into service.

I just put mine in the washing machine with no chemicals. I have an extra one and just rotate em' out. It comes out pretty clean.

Same here, bleach only on warm water in the washing machine.

BTW, I have been turning them inside out before going into the washing machine. Anybody else do this?
