I am wanting to know a price on Starphire Glass. I would like to use it on my next venture, so I am trying to plan everything accordingly. the tank dimensions are 48 1/2 long x 20" high x 19 1/2 wide. Does anyone know if they sell starphire singly (chime in anytime mike and or brian) so I can use it as my front glass?? It is feasible that I can replace this piece correct? I do not know the exact width of the actual glass, but a good start for a place that I can see prices would help to see if I can even budget for it.

starphire is a brand name for low iron glass. (kinda like visene is a name brand for eyedrops)

the easiest thing to do is call a local glass shop and ask for a price on low iron glass.

So your going to build a brand new aquarium? Or take apart an existing one and replace some of the panels with Starphire?

take the front glass out and replace it. Why? is there something I need to know Lonestar? BTW I love Lonestar/light. Best beer for the buck guaranteed!

Well it is possible to change out the glass but I personally would just order a new tank with the Starphire glass where you want it. Even if it costs a little bit more, I would just hold out until you get enough.

On the other hand, if you got access to the right tools, I have seen people build plywood tanks and insert a single pane of Starphire glass in the front.

yeah I am buying a used Oceanic. So I am using that. I will be drilling the back twice, and when that is being done I will swap out the glass.
