Recently i've started to find more nudibranchs on my zoas. I pull them off when I see them, but this is become a hassle and they are obviously breeding. Anyone know a good way of getting rid of them?

there are some wrasse that will take care of them and of course there is the freshwater dip with lugols added. try going to reef central on the zoathid forum and look up muchoreef or pm him. he has the best info i have ever read for nudi's.

Bad nudi's. According to the Zoanthid forum on ReefCentral, a dip in RO water with Lugol's iodine; the fish solution is the sea grass wrasse <http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=533167>.

Detailed instructions on the dip are here: <http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=451720>

There's a Zoanthid information sticky too.

That's why I dip all of my corals coming in.

I was little late with the info, but a double dose doesn't hurt.

Thanks I'll read up on reefcentral about the dip. Looked at the sea grass wrasse. Would get too large for my tank.

I remember when I had them. They were incredibly hard to see because the aquired the colors of the zoos they woud eat. I kept a very close eye on them and grabbed the little buggers with my aquatongs. I think I have a picture of one of them in my gallery. Anyway, I took out all of my zoos and nuked them with Lugol's. All gone.

I saw the pic in your gallery. They are like that but very small, or at least I pull them off before they get large.

MUCHO REEF says to dip your infected zoas then, before rinsing, hold them under actinics to better see the eggsacs.
