I have a friend that has a 75 gallon system. For filtration she is using a Rena XP3. She wants to know what the best protien skimmer for her sumpless system would be. Do you guys have any suggestions? -SoLiD

Deltec ME300. It seems to me that it is the only HOT skimmer that actually works well. Some might work, but that thing really works.

I have a 30 gallon with a Aqua C Remora and it works great. I would recommend the Remora Pro which is the bigger version.

A Deltec MCE300 is right on the cusp of what it can do with a 70 gallon tank and I wouldn't recommend it with heavy stocking. I'd look into the MCE600.

This girl (UNLIKE ME) is kinda on the frugal side if ya get my drift. Those Deltec skimers are the Ferrari's of HOT skimmers. She's probally looking for a Honda type HOT skimmer. Also her tank is new and very lightly stocked. I'm really appreciating everyone's input. Thanks -SoLiD

Try Euro-reef CS series if you can find one.

I have a Reef Octopus Skimmer on a 90 gallon and like it. I bought the dual HOB from aquacave.com.

Super skimmer with needle wheel cheap proven technology IMO for some1 lookin to not barely get by but not blow their whole wad on a skimmer. Maybe you wan find a used one? Or turbofloater
