MEK is a oil based (I believe if my memory is right) cleaning solvent similar to turpintine. Wouldn't use it myself.

Nope, I wouldn't use MEK in a tank... Not only that, but epoxy tends to heat as it cures. The stuff Ace gets for us is the best. I have some hobby gel, but it's just too runny.

Loctite superglue gel is waaaaay better than dollar store stuff. Should work for anything :)

I have used locktite gel and it seems my frags will fall over after a couple of days. Is there a process that needs to be done because I just put a ample amount on the frag and stick the frag to wherever I want but they never stay. Is there a better glue then locktite gel.

locktite gel is good, but for bigger pieces I will use a combo of superglue gel and aquamend. It's an epoxy that is made for water. You can find it at home depot in the same section with the stains and glue. I use it all the time. I usually add a little glue to the frag, then stick the epoxy on the frag, (this makes sure they stick together well and very quickly), then put glue again on the bottom of the epoxy and stick it in place and mold the epoxy around the rock your putting it on. I usually just use the gel on most everything, but if I have problems with it sticking or am attaching large pieces, I use the method above and it works great.
You can always just use the epoxy by itself, it just take it a little time to dry.

I always put some glue underwater and spread it on the spot where I want the frag, then dry the base of the frag off, apply glue and then put it in the spot in the tank where the glue is. I gently twist it for a couple of seconds and it cures strong. (Learned it from Richard :) )
There is epoxy by two little fishies, but that stuff gets like 110 degrees when curing so alot of frags will die from the heat

I'd be real careful with the gorilla glue, it expands when it hits water, but if you do use it pleas post your results as we can always use a new great reef glue...Danny

For your frags, this is safer and better. ;)
