So i was fortunate enough to win the Deltec skimmer at the meeting,(thank you Kingfish and Maast) the issue is this, it is way to small to be effective on may tank so i thought about upgrading to a larger one. well after looking at the specifications the next size up that will work with my aquarium is $600.. the one i have is worth $300.. i don't have the money right now to upgrade $300.. i know it is a great deal to basically get a nice skimmer at half price but i just don't have the money. So what to do

Sell it and save up for the other half ;) Might give the folks on Maast a chance to grab it before it goes on a national forum or Ebay.

Deltec is worth every penny....even though its taking me months to get it!

the problem with saving up is i have this new skimmer sitting here.. and i'm sure Kingfish does not want me holding onto it for several months while i come up with enough money,, i do really want the deltec though

i have the MCE600, if that's the one your considering upgrading to, you won't be disappointed. i was lucky enough to find a slightly used one for a great price.

Save up for a 902, that's what I was doing before I got hit by that truck on my bike. That's a fun skimmer. I had the cash in hand to go the next evening and by mine but had to put the money back into the bike instead....
