240 Gallon Tank [Archive]

I just bought a 240 gallon tank and stand and I am still in the early planning stage. It will be set up some time later this year. This will be a SPS dominant tank. This is what I have decided on so far.

4 250 Watt MH
4 48' T5 Actinics
Large Sump/Fuge
265lbs live rock
shallow sand bed
ATI Bubble Master 200 or 250 or Euro Reef RS250 (only have 31" of height inside stand)
Sequence Dart for return

nice! you are gonna love the length of that tank. if you want to come by and get some ideas, i have a 240 and i would be happy to give you a tour.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Ace, I have seen your tank before. I bought some SPS frags from you sometime in November of last year. The beauty of your tank is what inspired me to upgrade to a much larger tank. I would really like to check it out again some time.
