Snail stacking is a serious Psychological disorder in Tangs, get a Marine Shrink immediately! :)

i would lovvvvve to add more fish for him to play with but theres a problem, i have a sohal who just wont have that.. im trying to sell him, i thought there was someone whol wanted him but it didnt work out, so im looking to sell him asap but i want him to go to someone with over 100gallons at least, ive had a couple offers of ppl intersed in buying him but their tanks werent big enough, i want him to be in a happy home. but as soon as i sell him im going to get some more fish hopefully it will occupy my hippo and give him some friends.

It's probably a little bit of a dominance issue. He/she/it probably feels that the snails aren't in the right spot. Maybe it doesn't "flow" with the tang. It could be gay, not that there's anything wrong with that...

Seinfeld, for those of you who question! :) :) ;) ;)

Tang doesn't want competition on his grazing area. Tangs grow the algae and the snails are just interested in clear cutting :)

I had a clown trigger do the same once. Pick em up and pack them around the tank. He did the same thing with hermit crabs
