Membership Drive...

Hey, everyone we are having a membership drive. Just let you know there are some really NICE items to have in the upcoming meetings. We are trying to increase our PAID membership which is part of what will help us pay to update the software to make MAAST website flourish. We need you guys and as incentive to join. Here is what we plan to do.

We have donated frags from Ace aka hobogato, Brian aka GreenMako, Myself and others. Some of these will be Limited Edition frags. With a paid membership, you will be entered into a drawing for these frags. All frags will be worth the price of membership, so let's see who wins...? I might pay my 2008 dues now just to get a chance at some of these frags. :D

We will try and get pix up of some of the frags soon.

The drive starts with any paid membership starting on March 1st 'til the March meeting/Frag Swap on March 18th where will give out the frags.

Wow, I always intended to renew my membership but I guess I'm kinda glad that I procrastinated so long. For some reason this doesn't seem fair to everyone else who renewed/joined but who am I to turn down frags. :D

I tell you what I will do and this is the best I can do. I will retro it back to the meeting we had on Sunday. Anyone paid from that day will be in the drawing.

There will be anywhere from 6-10 frags to choose from. What we will do is assign numbers to the members and numbers to the corals, then draw and the correspondings go together. The frags will be numbered 1 to ? The members will be numbered in a random order and as # are drawn they will go to frag #'s in order. So, you want know what frag you get until the drawing is finalized. If there are more frags than new members, then the frags will be put in a new raffle. Does this clerify questions?

Ah, took me a little while.

Assign names to raffle tickets. Then draw the corresponding raffle tickets. 1st raffle ticket drawn gets frag1, second person/ticket gets frag2, and so on.

Just a friendly reminder and a bump, the dues can be paid at the meeting and still qualify for the drawing. The drawing will be done "live" at the meeting. I plan on paying my next years dues then for qualification. Most of these frags are themselves worth more than the dues. So, buy a frag get a free membership. :D 8)

Just to help the people having trouble with the decision whether to pay or not to pay, here is a list of the corals for the Membership Drive drawing.
