Aiptasia Trick?

I found a tiny piece of aiptasia. I burned it off of my rock of RPEs, seems to have worked!

Keep an eye on it. It will probably come back. I had a friend who tried burning aptasia with a red hot coat hanger. They alwys came back.

A fellow mastard posted some time ago on how he used a propane torch to heat a screwdriver. He then stabbed the aptasia whilst holding the rock outside the tank. This appeared effective and caused minimum damage to the rock

The blue point lighters (mini-blow torches) work really really well. You can go from aiptasia to glowing red spot in seconds! Regular lighters take too long.

I used a regular lighter, but you could use a torch lighter for a directed blast o' flame. Torch lighters would be good if the aiptasia was in between polyps.
