Has anyone had any problems or success with a valentini puffer in a reef system ie softies inverts ?

Mine will go after any snail that is turned over and exposing itself. I've seen it nip at my clam also. Never seen it bother anything else. Eats out of my hand and will bite my finger if it smells like brine shrimp.

i have a spiny box, and a yellow spotted box, both are said to nip at softies and inverts but I have no troubles. I think it probably has to do with the fact of if it likes frozen food or not and if it fed enough. I had a damsel that ate 90% of my goniopora, and a ton of xenia before I caught it in a fish trap that was one of my "if i had only thought of that sooner..." moments.

well i dont want to add another mark to the tally i think ill give it a try if it doesnt work out he will play in the sump until someone takes him
