Besides that the tank looks awesome. Hopefully I'll get to see it when I pick up the other corals on Sunday.

there's a fiberglass tent pole running up through the two shelves. it's anchored in a large rock at the base. the orange cap sets over the top end of the pole.

yeah, the idea with downsizing from the 120 was to simplify. i once had a nano that i really liked the design of, but it was only 16G. so, i decided to build a "mega" "nano". there's a skimming compartment in the right rear corner, my skimmer intakes there. the skimmer outputs into a center chamber(~10G)fuge, which is about half full of live rubble(soon i'll add some chaeto too). from there the water goes under a divider, and rises back over the back wall into the display. it worked out really well, and i'm very happy with it. i just want to add some moonlights, and a UPS(we have frequent power outages). i'll just put the skimmer and one daylight PC on the UPS. this way i should get about 5 hrs of run time on a 350W UPS. then it will be a worry free low maintainence system. i want to feel comfortable leaving it for at least 5 days.

I agree that tank is fantastic looking. Your clam looks like the little brother of that monster clam at SeaWorld.

i really need to take some new pics. alot has changed in a few short months, the tank is still looking pretty sweet. but, now we're looking at moving to bellingham washington! at first i thought i might attempt a move, but then my memories of previous moves returned. trying to keep everything aerated, and at a stable temp for 2-4 days in my truck would be a trick! i've been trying to get used to the idea of (oh, here it comes) selling. we've been up in WA for awhile, and i was planning on waiting till i got back to start the process(and i know it will be a process). if anyone is interested in the Complete Dry System, LMK. livestock will not be sold untill a buyer for the tank is solid. and please don't fill my PM box with lowball offers, or offers for individual components that i obviously can't part with yet. i want to be able to offer the complete system to the buyer. any components they don't want will be listed later. i'll try and get some new shots up in the forsale forum(and a price!), possibly by the weekend, but i have alot going on right now(including on of my dearest freinds in the ICU) so please don't get all bent if it takes me a little longer
