I was wondering if any body had any information on the t-5 floresent lights that i have been hereing about.

There is info everywhere online. Just do a search for t-5 lighting. I found a lot of info on ReefCentral- they have a couple of sticky threads for lighting.

URI/UVL has T5HO's to match there VHO's in quality and look. Just remember there are T5(39w) and T5HO (54w)lamps. The reflector and the manufacture of the lamp makes the difference between them and compact fluorescents as far as output.
