Well, I'm now an official nano person (at least until my floors are done and new tank up). At the moment a small Oceanice Bio Cube 14 with one lonely rock until later today and my onyx clown that I kept from my setup.
I'm going to be putting some shrooms and zoos in there and maybe some other lower light needing corals. I'm wanting to put in one of those gobys that sift the sand (always thought that was cool to watch).

What other fish would yall recommend for a nano like that? Not that I could put much more in it anyways.

A Nemateleotris decora would be cool.

Yeah, I saw one this weekend at Fin Addict and was thinking the same thing.

Welcome official nano-er~!

I keep a pair of marron clowns in my 24g. I think a goby would look cool in there. One more fish may be pushing the bioload.... It just depends on how much filtration you got.

Love the firefish, get a good lid.

Clown gobies are cool.

Hey Cliff, welcome to the small side.

I've always liked shrimp goby/pistol shrimp combo. The goby and pistol would stay at the bottom of the tank, clown towards the top.

Welcome to the dark side Cliff! :ph34r
How about a 6 line wrasse? Very active for a nano and they have pretty awesome personalities.

I had a six line but he was way too large for my 14 gallon. It has the fool canopy so something jumping out shouldn't be a problem.
Here's what I'm thinking after giving it some time.
I'd love to put an anenome in there that the clow can host in, and possibly a partner but the onyx is hard to come by.

Another onyx if I can find one, if not the purple firefish but I haven't had a lot of luck with those guys in the past.
Some sort of sand sifting goby, I'll have to look up the different species.
couple of fire shrimp

I think the Hi-fin goby with a paired pistol shrimp is one of the coolest additions to a nano.

If you do not want the shrimp/goby pairing, I liked my twin-spot or signal gobies. Had a pair in my nano and then moved them to a buddies tank.
