Is it possible to cut these back without them dieing? If so, how would one prune them?

i never heard of anyone dooing that, so i don't know. what i did with mine is put them in a 50 cent car cup holder that goes into the window of a car, and dropped it into my seahorse tank. as the roots grow down it gives something for the horses to hitch to.

FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND you can remove all but one leaf. they need that to maintain photosynthesis.. you cannot cut them shorter if it means removing all the leaves.. Ask seamonkey i beleive he might now more about it than me

What about grafting? :unsure
Be cool to have a little bonsai mangrove hanging on the side of your tank. :shades
Experiments must be done! :)
