I just wanted to write and say what a great job Ed is doing with his shop. I stopped by today and saw a beautiful fairy wrasse in one of his tanks which was stocked with corals and live rock. I asked if the fish was for sale and he said yes. Now any other shop could have said the fish in stocked tanks are not for sale (seen it many times), because they don't want the hassle of moving around corals and LR, but Ed spent almost 20minutes catching this fish, moving corals and HUGE pieces of LR out of this tank just to make me the customer happy. Even though he had another wrasse in another tank, there was something about this one that I just had to have, and Ed worked his tail off to get it for me. I ended up with the fish and some other corals and a very happy experience. Anybody who has not been to Ed's shop please stop by and you will not be dissapointed. Thanks for everything Ed and keep up the good work.
ps. sorry for the huge inconvenience!! ^_^

I couln't believe how much it has changed. Almost every tank is now fully stocked and his selection and prices on corals were very very reasonable.

I agree. Ed is the man! He has gone out of his way MANY times dealing with us. The same goes for the pizza eating monster, Jason. Wish he was closer, but ALWAYS worth the drive over. We usually walk out with both hands full of coral. I LOVE YOU MAN!

I dont know about you guys but i hate going there. The people there are too nice, they know everything and the stuff they have is too cheap. They are the reason im poor. Its an amazing place and Ed has really turned it around and fixed the place up very nice. I cant/can wait to go see this huge shipment that came in and what new they have done with the place. Keep up the good work Ed!!!

Anthony, you are one step ahead of me!
I stopped by Wolf Reef today as well (how did we all not run in to each other?!?!?) and picked up a beautiful little mandarin that took a few bites of frozen!
Anyway, good job Ed :)

Ed thanks for holding that blue spot jawfish. That ******* already buried everything in my tank, lol. It's a beautiful little fish at a very fair price. Ed was very friendly to work with.
Not to mention the shop is right around the corner from Chacho's on Poss.

So Mike I guess you had enough gas to make it home, or did you have your girlfriend push you and the tube anemone home? :lol

Yeah we have had nothing but good service @ wolf reef. Ed never minds all the questions we always seem to have, and being new to the hobby trust us we have alot. He never seems to mind when we mill about the store daydreaming for 15-45 min. heh Ok we have a fish problem.....but it could be worse, it could be a drug habit. Although in hindsight a drug habit might have actually been cheaper ;)
Thanks Ed for doing such a great job with the store. And that really nice GBTA is doin well and running laps around my tank :D
Keep it up

We took the chance. We went to Chacho's after buying both the tube anemone and the blue spot. We didn't order our normal half order of black and white nacho's. Instead we saved the couple of dollars and got $4 worth of gas in San Marcos.
All in all a fair compromise.

Yeah, Ed rocks. No matter how packed the place is and how busy he is, he's always totally willing to help you out and answer questions. BTW, they got LOTS of great stuff this afternoon. I'm poor though and could only afford a bottle of copepods. Jason's a pretty cool guy too. Can't forget to mention him! Thankfully, around SA, we are very blessed to have such a great varierty of LFS's and some fantastic people who run them.
