Presently have 8 green chromis, 1 purple tang, 1 whitecheek tang, 1 perc clown, 1 six line wrasse, cleaner shrimp and a few lps/sps corals in a 215 tank...would like to add a fish or two....any suggestions for something that would be compatible? would another tang be out of the question? how about an sml angel?

You may have problems adding another tang. I also have a purple tang and anytime I have added another larger fish, he picks on it bad. I have had real good luck with my Flame Angel. He has good color and has never bothered anything.

Thanks...Isn't a hawkfish a threat to crustaceans? how about a blenny or a goby?

I'm not sure if this interests you, but I just added a Melanarus wrasse to my tank, and already most of my flatworms are gone. It's a cool looking fish, too.

Flame Hawkfish not much of a threat compared to other Hawks. I've had mine with an assortment of 80-100 hermits, trochus, nassarius, fighting conchs, emeralds, pom-pom crabs, porcelain crabs, pistol shrimp and gobies for about 15 months and never seen it touch any other creature. How about a blue hippo tang? They're beautiful, and generally easy to get along with. I agree with the suggestion above for the flame angel, but I'd also consider living on the edge a little with an emperor. Mine has to be my favorite fish - what personality, and a fairly laid-back king of the tank.
