Has anyone ordered any product from Aquatraders?

I know that their products are not top of the line but I was wondering how the shipping process and customer service was?

I emailed aquatraders a few questions, but does anyone know who makes these bulbs? => http://www.aquatraders.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=56 ?

Thanks for the help.

Do a search on Marshreef and RC. They have some "good" threads and "bad" threads.

I saw that. I think the incandescent light would be great for my corals. :D

Do you think I could keep sps under that light?

Would it be a wise Idea for me to buy that 48" PC fixture?

Now that I have done a bit of research, I'm not sure that the products from Jebo/Odessea are that great, nor is the company selling them (Aqua Traders) that reputable.

I would say that only about 1/4 of the information I read was in favor of this company and the products they sell. Buyer beware!

EDIT: Has anyone had a good experience with this company or the products they sell?

I ordered (and received) four 36 watt 50/50 pc bulbs from Aquatraders after all. I received my shippment in a timely manner. The bulbs are nice and not to mention they were cheap.

I would order bulbs from them again due to my recent experiences.

There is one thing I have learned in this hobby....

Sometimes it just works out better to sit tight and save up for a better brand. It will outperform any cheaper products out there...plus they hold their value well.....or alot better than a no-name brand would.

Just something to think about ;)

I feel what you are saying.

I wanted to try these bulbs out and see what they yielded (esp as far as color). As far as I'm concerned they are the same quality as the $20 JBJ Lighting or Coralife bulbs. As with anything only time will tell and I will judge according to my coral growth.

I look at it this way, "They're just bulbs."

I've only spent ~$24 on a set of four bulbs. If they work then great, if not... oh well. :P
