Fargone, that lion is a Volitan (if your getting it from the for sale thread). IMO a 55g is too small, he will outgrow it, and fast. I was interested in the same fish, but at 8" already, and eating everything in sight, he will soon outgrow the 110g I was considering putting him in. 70+ pounds of LR is alot for a 55, and if it is cured, I dont see the benefit of more LR, as long as water parameters are good right now, I woulndt waste the $$. Right now, he IS large enough to eat the goby in 1 gulp, and if the Hawkfish is the same size, he might be dinner too. Lions are indescriminate about what they eat, and can/will eat anything that fits in their mouth. BTW, ever seen a large mouth bass open its mouth to eat? Lions are very similar to mouth size v. body size...Amazing little things.... There are a few varieties of dwarf lions, and all would work wel in a 55. FU-manchu, dwarf, fuzzy, all types..... Check out Aquarium Designs on 281 and Brookhollow, they usually carry 2-3 different types of Dwarf lions.
