I've been to AquaTek and, gasp, Horizon but those two regular retailers of ESV B IONIC are not holding my fix. The Dome nor RCA (come on guys stock the stuff please) carry it. You all know I won't set foot in Austin Aquariums, not even for the good junk.

So I'm going to head to SA to get a couple of gallons as I finally have a day off that will allow me to stock up on stuff. Now don't get started saying about what a waste it is to drive to SA in nasty weather for B IONIC, I'll also be able to have dinner at Chacho's. Now does that make it worth it?

So who can tell me what store in SA is holding?

Got an extra unopened set of jugs and want to split an order of king kong nahco's?........ LMK.

I was thinking I saw a set of 1g jugs at CB but that was about 2 months back. Alamo Aquatics is next to Chacho's but charges so much for everything.....

Oh and forgot that Kingfish in Austin is holding if I remember correctly but they aren't open today.

Mike,

I've got it in 2 gallon, 64 oz, and 32 oz sizes. Call me on my cell at (512) 934 7470 if you want to swing by.

John

No seriously if I did not work 80 hours a week my life would be that simple.

I'm also addicted to the stuff. From the little I understand about it I like that I add them right after each other unlike normal chloride mixes. If I was that worried I could have gotten some reef Alk from SeaChem to go along with the dozen bottles of Reef Complete in the cabinet to have them as a 2 part. I've been wanting to make my own but why? B Ionic works great, it's easy to dose, it's very forgiving. It comes in a plastic jug. If I make my own it seems that to save any money you need to buy the Dow Flake in huge quantities then sell the leftovers to your friends on MAAST, hoping they actually show up after committing to the purchase. Then you still need other stuff, not to mention extra storage containers, etc.... I'm about to drive to Kingfish and I'll have enough for 2 months for $30 in it's own container. Measure, pour. Not to mention we are going to test my RO unit for output and I might possibly buy some corals while I'm there. All things I couldn't do if I made my own.

But I've been thinking about it because I like to tinker with things.

Oh and I really wanted to go to Chacho's for dinner. That was the real reason. But nobody from SA chimed in.

FWIW when I was buying B Ionic, Alamo Aquatics had some of the cheapest prices for that item in SA.

Chacho's can be the reason for most anything.

Thanks to John at Kingfish for opening the store for me to get some B Ionic. To bad there wasn't a Chaco's nearby that I could have treated him to. How about a meeting at Chacho's? The one on Posey (That's the street right?) is the one I like. Well actually I prefer the one on Westheimer but I don't think we are going to have a meeting in Houston just for some giant $2.50 burrito's. The Chacho's and Chalulies (sp?) is supposed to be huge and could contain all of us.

What's wrong with AA?

I'm not touching this loaded question out of respect for the forum.

Please do a search on the name of the store and you might find the answer. Someone might even be kind enough to PM you with it, just not me.
