Another Wrasse Question

I just wanted soem thoughts from people with Yellow Coris Wrasses. I have had mine for almost 2 months and have noticed that he only comes out in the morning when the actinic lights are on. Once the full MH kicks in he goes into hiding and doesn't come out until the next day. Are they Nocturnal or just really skiddish and hide when the lights come on? Any thoughts on how to change it's behavior?? I bought this fish because it was reallly nice looking, but now I'm not able to even see it.

Mine only comes out when he's hungry, so when he comes out I feed the entire tank. The I keep that schedule for months. He's doing great. Mine don't come out a night time so I don't think they are.

I must have the exception. I bought one about 2 months ago and he is always out swimming. He seems to have almost doubled in size since I got him. Do you have any fish that seem to be bothering him?

mine is out all day, but no where to be seen when it is close to lights out - buries in the sand. give him time, he will stay out more.

No in fact when I see him out he seems to be the more aggresive one. When the actinics come on he comes out and seems fine then 1 MH will come on and he still seems ok, but once the 2nd one come son he goes behind the rocks and doesn't coem out til morning. When he's out I see him picking at the rock and eating, but then hes goen by the afternoon it's really frustrating, maybe I'll change the light scghedule a bit.

My actinics coem on at least 4 hours before the halides and my halides stay on for 8 hours. Could it it be to big of a time lapse so it hides after a while?
