VHO's

I'm not to familiar with VHOs ive always used the T-5 retro kits but i saw this... any opinions on this kit ...

I have used ARO Ballast from Hellolights for 1 1/2 yrs now. Never had any problems. I just bought another 4 bulb unit from Texas Todd for the tank at school. I like VHO bulbs. I Hellolights has some great customer service too.

I bought the same unit from Hellolights about 1.5 years ago and it is working fine. The one problem I had with mine was that the wire harness it came with at the time was nowhere near long enough to run to all the lights and I had to go buy more wire. Looks like they fixed that problem and included extra wiring now.

I also have had good experiences with HelloLights. The two ARO ballasts I got with my units are quiet, and don't get real warm. HelloLights sent a follow-up email after the units arrived, to ask if all was well, and if there were any problems/questions. ..Karl

I have the 4 bulb vho set up on mine. Works great but I'm going to metal halide in the coming months.
