If you have sps you might consider taking them out or watching them real close possibly in a quarantine tank, with a sacrificial sps to see if that's what they eat.

I have one that looks just like that but havent seen it on any of my sps. All the time ive seen it it has been in the open on the rocks possibly eating algae? But just to be on the safe side im going to remove it.

removed all 3...was a pita and decided to rerockscape and look for others. None to be found. These were about the size of a quarter and I've had some SPS mysteriously have spots die.

I spoke too soon. I totally forgot about my mille until today while doing some work on the tank. Ive noticed this guy for quite some time but never thought anything about it. I too have a few weird dead spots on my mille and they seem to regrow but I could never figure out what was causing it. Thanks to you I think I finally found the culprit :D. Weird thing is now that ive figured out this guy is bad I dont see him anymore. Before I always saw him on my rocks moving around but now hes nowhere to be seen at all.

Very strange! I have one of these in my tank too. It's been there for at least two years and I hadn't seen it mess with anything, but my only mille looks very similar to that. I hadn't been able to figure out what was going on with it. I've never seen anything bother the mille. Guess I need to go fishing tonight...
