Just picked up this beautiful piece from CB Pets.
The other two are older but I had the camera out and thought what the heck.
Anybody know what the purple piece with small white polyps is?

Cliff,
The first one looks like a Cali Tort to me.

Not sure myself, I guess that's what Sea World was calling a Miami Orchid and this piece is one of the ones he had for $30.

Yeah that's what seaworld called it. I don't keep up with the designer names or even species but it does look tortish.

There are only 5 kinds of acros in my world...
1 - Purty and lived
2 - Purty and died
3 - Ugly and stayed that way
4 - Ugly and got purty
5 - Ugly, then died

Cliff - feel free to bring it back tomorrow if it's not what others are calling a miami orchid ;)

Yeah that looks more like a tort than the miami orchid I have or have seen. Still a good score.

Okay so what does a Miami Orchid look like? I bought a really nice frag that was labeled "Miami Orchid, from Mr. Aquarium in Lubbock, TX ( Very Nice shop, set up very well done). It travelled almost 7hrs to San Marcos and after dipping was placed in my tank and looked nicer than it did when I picked it up from the shop. It color right now is a brownish purple with plue tips. But I'd like to see a picture of one to confirm. Will try and get a nice pic of mine when the lights come on.
