I still have to figure out what I want to do for a stand. I have to make sure the stand is very sturdy and does not have a problem with a 60+ pound Bulldog pup putting his paws on it to watch the fish.

I will probably end up building one myself. I really enjoy the building part, I really hate the staining part. I am thinking of building one to fit into a corner. hopefully the dog won't knock it over when he is watching the fish. Maybe I will have to build him a matching platform, to sit on so he can see it better.

Thanks to the incompetence of DHL, I will not be getting my tank for Christmas. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but was in Orlando (when did Orlando become on the way between New York and Texas). I called and they said they were hoping it would come in this morning and I could come pick it up. Well, no luck there either. I called again this morning and they had no clue where it was and would not be able to tell until Tuesday. This is the second time I have had problems with DHL, I think I will do whatever it takes to avoid them in the future.

The tank finally got here and I found a nice cabinet that I am going to use as a stand. I did my aquascaping and filled it with water this morning. It is really cloudy from the sand, but looks nice so far. I will take some Pics once the cloudiness calms down some. I am off to Aquatek to get a Tunze Nanostream 6025 for it now. I went in yesterday to buy a return pump (Cadlights forgot to send one with the tank) and got an Ehiem Compact pump 1000. It is supposed to pump 260 gph, I think it is pumping more. It does have an adjuster so I will probably turn it down. While I was there, I got on the list for the 6025 thinking it would be a week or 2 wait, and they came in today. I have been very happy with the 2 6045's in my 90g. I hope this is not to much flow in the tank. About 40x turnover.
