So what size is going to be considered a nano?

Good question. I guess it could be in the eye of the beholder, for someone like z28pwr or greenmako it could be a 125 and down. :lol

I thought they are usually in the range of 25 or smaller though, maybe RC has a listing of what qualifies somewhere.

how about 20 or smaller. lots of people keeping tanks slightly larger than that (like me and my 30) do not consider them Nanos.

smaller than 5 would be a pico (IMHO)

Only reason I said 25 was I think the they sale the Aquapod 24 and usually classify it as a nano, 20 sounds good to me though.

I would assume that the Nano forum would cover all of the tanks that come as an All-in-one or all-inclusive style deal directly from the manufacturer. In other words, built-in overflow, refugium/bio-ball thing, special filter slots, etc.

You know what they say about assumes though.

Yeah i agree that it should be like 20 gallon or lower. To me though, even a 20 gallon wouldnt be a nano... I have a 30 gallon and i dont consider it to be a nano at all but on RC i guess it would be. Hopefully soon ill have more done on my nano and I can post on here!

Now if we could only get an SPS forum! lol

If he gets an SPS forum...i want a softy forum!
