Jumping longnose butterfly?

i recently got a long nosed butterfly, hes doing great no one is picking on him hes swimming all around breathing good and eating good too (he even ate the first day i got him) anyways my question is, he swims to the top of the tank and stick his whole nose out of the water, he does this very often then goes back to swimming around.. then goes and does it again. he even spits water out some of the times. is this normal? im a little worried he might jump out of my tank or something. :huh

mine WAS a jumper, since then i have put light diffuser on the top for a lid

did he ever make it to the floor? i might have to go get something like that tonight if not tomorrow

yea, he was on the floor for two days before i found him, fish jerky.........
