so I was doing some reading online and came across this:

http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-10/rhf/index.php

The entire article was really long and I didn't absorb nearly all of it, but I really liked the part about the continuous water changes (toward the bottom). It looks like a really cool idea to me. Very easy for me, very little stress on the animals in the tank... seems like a win/win to me! :) Anybody else ever tried something like this?

Btw, here are the pumps he mentions:

Definitely pricey but if they made water changes totally painless and also could be used for dosing of other things the investment might just be worth it.

The problem with continuous water changes is that you don't get as much water changed - the draining part of the equation always throws away some "new" water.
