Well I'm looking to purchase a large acrylic tank. I've been out of the market, and I'm sure things have changed. Any advice, personal experiences and even hearsay is welcome. well I'm looking for something in the range of 8'x4'x4'. Thanks in advance

Thanks

I hear Tenecor is one of the TOP acrylic tank manufacturers.

Jose (z28pwr) just got his 600g tank from them. Might pm him to see how the process went.

Hi Henry! There's a guy in Portland, Oregon who builds large tanks. His work is quite a bit better than any of the tenecor tanks I've seen. His name is James, and his reefcentral screen name is "acrylics" You could send him a PM on RC and get his number. Basically all he does is large commercial tanks. I forget what his company name is. If I were going to get a big acrylic tank I'd definitely contact him.

Just make sure you have plenty of people to move it and plenty of room to get it in the house.

LOL, that size tank doesn't fit through most doors or down most hallway's so it's either going in the garage or a new house to be built around the tank. Sounds like an exciting project for sure! :)

Call this guy: Cain Black in Seguin. He has a 150 with a pine stand and some kind of top/canopy. I think he wants under $200. (830) 237-8162
