what do you wanna spend jorge? the camera i use is a toshiba 3.3 Mpixel, and you could get an equivalent now for about $450 here (http://www.toshiba.com/taisisd/dsc/products/3millionpixel/index.shtml) is a link - top one.

i will be upgrading before too long, and this (http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/USD/SY_DisplayProductInformation-Start?ProductSKU=DSLRA100K&Dept=dcc&CategoryName=d cc_DIDigitalSLRCameras_BodyandKits) is the one i would REALLY like to get.

I just bought a Panasonic DMC-TZ1 and am very happy with it.

mm? I'm gueesing you are referring to the lens size of millimeters. I got a really nice Koday 6.1 a few years back. It takes super awesome pictures of everything but my tank. If I ever buy another digi cam I will be getting a SLR with detachable lenses. My point and shoot needs color filters because of my lighting.

Single Lense reflex. I'm not to sure about it all but if I am correct it means that the pic does not go through a bunch of mirrors and lenses on the way to the pic itself. SLR bodies have the capability to use different lenses unlike point and shoots. I should add to that it is actually DSLR for digital.
