I am having a sump built for my new 100 gallon reef but I am going to have to go to an external pump. I am needing sugestions on a good priced good pump that I wont have to worry about.

Pan world or iwaki, both great return pumps, in a totally different league than mag pumps. I have a practically new Pan world 1100 GPH pump for sale if you're interested.

Invest in a PanWorld, you will not be dissapointed!

If its the return flow for a sump, go external. They are more efficient and run cooler than a MAG pump would ever do.
Pan World's are built great and are fairly inexpensive.
Sequence makes some great pumps also. The Dart is high flow, low heat, low wattage. Can't go wrong there either. ;)

Sequence would be an ideal closed loop pump, but it's alot of flow through a sump IMO, even the dart.
