I'm moving livestock from my old 120 to my new 240. I bought a rose BTA about three years ago that's split twice. I lost one clone during one split so I have two. They each have their feet on two rocks making it difficult to move them. All other livestock is moved. Most of my lighting is moved. To get the anemones to walk a tried moving just one rocks just a little hoping that a little discomfort might make him move to one rock or the other. Well, one of the anemones had his own idea. He's splitting. This is day three of the split and he has made no progress since yesterday morning. I have to get him/them moved soon. I leave for vacation Monday AM.

He has had no light in a few days. I'm wondering if he needs more light energy to finish splitting. Or, will lack of light hurry him up? They will sometimes disappear into the rocks to split anyway where there is no light.

Any ideas?

I would give it a day more and then go into surgeon mode. Assist the split with a very sharp knife through the mouth. Maybe?

Ice has always worked to get them to let go for me. Takes about 5 minutes of direct contact with the foot.
