Long ago I bought a Great White Magnet - great product overall, but the inside unit tends to crack after you drop it on the floor 20 or 30 times :roll

I attempted many times to re-seal the inside unit so it would not leak with limitted success. I was about ready to buy another ($100+ investment) and decided to order the largest MagFloat instead ... it didn't work on my 3/4" glass :(

But ... The external piece of the Tiger + The inside (floating) piece of the MagFloat work GREAT as a pair :)

$19.95 later I'm happy again ;)

A cheap compromise. At least the better looking outer piece of the Tiger is on the outside ;)

I will never ever buy another magnet scraper that does not float. Seriously why do they even make them that don't? I got a second hand Tunze magnet once and as I rounded a corner it fell. And it was heavy too. Oh and those sharp corners for no reason. Yeah it landed on an 8" long tent plate fungia. Of course my plate died in a few days. That really sucked. magfloat makes a huge industrial magnet that cost about $120 online and it will fit your tank. It's about 6" long and 2.5" wide.
