the best way i think is the interceptor treatment. you treat the whole tank, and the only issues are with shrimp and crabs. some die and some dont. i have treated my tank, and lost blue leg hermits, pods, and cleaner shrimp, while red leg hermits, pistol shrimp, mantis shrimp (darnit), and porcelin(sp?) crabs all make it thru.
ill pm ya a link that might be helpfull.
if you look on the sps keeper thread of RC, they have documented the treatment pretty well, but i used a stronger dosage than they reccommend. in my 300 gallon system, i used three full adult pills.

when i treated, i crushed three 50-100 lb dog tabs and dissolved them into a little bit of tank water. i turned off the air to the skimmer, and removed all carbon from the system. put the dissolved interceptor in the tank and left it for 6.5 - 7 hours. then, turned the air back on on the skimmer and skimmed wet for a couple of days. also added fresh carbon twice over the next two days. about 24 hours after first adding the interceptor to the tank, i did a 60 gallon (about 20%) water change.
