Got 'em, replaced the maxijets in my corner tank with them. They're pretty nifty, very gentle flow ideal for small tanks. A pair of the 6025s, which is the smallest and only model currently out, is perfect for a 30 long or smaller; or a 40 breeder mixed reef where you don't need really high flow. I'm going to try the 6045s in my tank as soon as they come out in a few weeks, at which point I"ll be wanting to sell either the 6025s or 45s, depending on whether the 45s kick up sand in my tank. I'm really impressed by the gentle flow and wide dispersion that these things have.
They had 3 at aquatek and I bought 2. There's a waiting list most places.

I got 2 6025s from Aquatek last week. They do put out some flow for their size. I has going to put them both in my 22g but after putting one in I soon realized that two would be overkill. With just one there is no way I can position it without it blowing a bald spot in my sand :)

They go for ~$60+tax. These thing are really awesom I got one for some extra flow and it does put out some pretty decent flow. I noticed a major sand shift the next morning and had to adjust it so it wouldn't bury my zoas. I really recommend these for smaller tanks.

i'm going to be setting up a 60G cube, was thinking of putting 3 or 4 of them on my wave maker. overkill? there's going to be no sump, so, no returns. and just a backpack skimmer. basically, an oversized nano.

I understand you need an off/on interval of 15 mins or longer or else the warranty is voided. Of course if you're loaded you could get the 6055s that can be programmed with the multi controller. I think a pair of those with the controller is at least $700.
For a 60 cube, which I assume is 24" by 24" by 24" (nice tank, I'm sure) one of the 6025s in each corner would be amazing flow and I doubt you'd have much of a sand storm if you aimed them right. They only draw 6 watts, so you'd be looking at 2500gph for 24 watts, with essentially no heat or noise in the tank.

I also got one of the 6025, my first Tunze pump, and I'm very impressed. I'm looking forward to the controllable 6055. Does anyone know if the 6055 would work with the Tunze multicontroller that does wave patterns and stuff?

I believe the 6055 will work with a multicontroller. I was planning on getting 1 or 2 when I heard they were announced last spring, along with the multicontroller.

Yep, works with the current Tunze controller. Apparently you can control 2 on the single controller with a Y cord, just limited to making the pumps do the same thing. I'm sure the multi controller is a better idea, just costs more. The 6045s are $200 each, as opposed to $91 for the non controllable 6045s.

yeah, maybe i'll just eliminate the WM, and just use the tunze's. i was hoping they were quiet, noise is one of the most important considerations on the new tank. my current tank is pretty quiet, but still drives my GF crazy(which, of course, in turn, drives me crazy).

To those who have started using the 6025's, how wide is the spread of the flow?
Anyone got the 6045's yet? I'd be interested in the flow spread on those too (since I'm getting those).
