Let me say first off, I am a saltwater newb. I tried to google this problem to no avail. My percula has some weird white bubble on the side of his mouth. At first I thought it was just a peice of shrimp stuck to his face from feeding, but I was wrong. The white bubble has grown a little since i first noticed it. I was hoping it would just go away but it has not shown any sign of that remotely happening. It's been about 2 weeks since I first noticed that. Now a portion of his lip and the right side of his body are starting to form small white bumps. He seems to be doing absolutely fine, no heavy breathing and he is still as active as ever. I don't have any idea whats wrong! Help!

Try searching this site or Googling "Brooklynella". See if thats what he has.

its not brooklynella for sure. i believe it is Oodinium, apparently very similar apparently to brooklynella. i noticed the blenny rubbing his face against the rocks the other day. i havent seen the percula do this once though, which seems odd to me since he is obviously the most infected. if this is my problem, what can i do to remedy it?
